Sunday before last I escaped to Penn Square Mall by myself to do a little shopping. While I was there I decided to try out Wink Salon to get my eyebrows waxed and shaped up. Wink Salon is the "little sister" of The Oxford Spa Salon. Wink Salon consists of a reclining spa chair beside one of those freestanding mall booths. Don't let the small and simplistic set up fool you though, everything was very clean and professional looking just like the main Oxford Salon. 
 
When I walked up to the booth I was asked to write down my name and cell phone number and the lady would call me when it was my turn. This is such a great idea! I was able continue on with my shopping then come back when she was ready for me. 
 
I sat down on a little stool next to the booth while she worked on my eyebrows. I cannot tell a lie and say that it didn't hurt, because it's going to hurt wherever you go. What I will say is that whatever brand of wax that she used was wonderful. It has been just over one week since having my eyebrows done and my skin never broke out. Every time I have had my eyebrows done in the past, my skin in that area would break out soon after. This time I had just a little bit of red puffiness afterwards that didn't even last long. 
 
Needless to say, I know where I'm going next time to get my eyebrows taken care of. Wink Salon, Ink is very professional, affordable and convenient.
